The field of materiel logistics is a specialized subset of the many and varied operational areas of the total logistics portfolio. The area is particularly important to defence support services and military organizations that have specific needs for warehousing, specialist 3PL relationships, multi-modal planning, equipment purchasing, and contract performance as well as its measurement with appropriate Key Performance Indicators.

• Operating a decentralized physical operation with the benefits of centralized management and cost centre reporting
• Shared warehousing opportunities
Temporary Distribution Centre Location:
• Optimal determination of temporary depot locations for operational deployments
Enhanced Network Considerations
• The use of Bi-Modal networks for critical multi-modal delivery choices
3PL and Subcontractors
• Contract escalation clause construction for 2PL and 3PL
Key Performance Indicators for:
• Advanced warehousing operations,
• multi modal logistic operations and
• identifying the fragility of your overall supply chain networks
Duration: 2 Days
Price: $490 (+GST) per person negotiable with bulk enrolments and remote site delivery.

Assessment
The course will have post course assessment queries handed out at the end of the course. These can be submitted up to six weeks after the course. Continual Professional Development Points will be higher when assessment is completed.
