PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Overview | This advanced procurement and contracting program focuses on the skills and knowledge required to manage the procurement and contracting functions within an agency or to develop agency policy, processes and procedures. It is strategically focused on the development of organisational procurement capability and is action learning-focused, using case studies and simulations to ensure the tools, techniques and concepts presented in the program are analysed and practised in a safe learning environment. A number of guest speakers are drawn from across government and the private sector to provide subject matter expertise and insight.

Course Requirements | Participants are required to complete all in-class activities as well as workplace assessment tasks to achieve this qualification.
Assessment encompasses group work conducted in class including presentations on researched topics and work-based tasks completed outside of the training workshops.

Presenter | Stuart Patch
Stuart is a Director and senior faculty member specialising in the areas of financial management, procurement, project management and risk management.
Stuart delivers training for leading organisations including the Australian Institute of Company Directors, CPA Australia, the University of Technology Sydney and the Australian Institute of Management. His delivery is greatly enriched by an extensive career working across the world as Finance Director for global listed companies operating in the power generation, construction, resources and transportation sectors.
Stuart has facilitated training, coached and mentored senior management and high potential employees within commercial firms, government and the not-for-profit sector. Stuart is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, holds a Diploma in Project Management and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
