Overview
Those applying for GOLD accreditation will have completed the Bronze and Silver VRU training before proceeding to this VRU GOLD Program.
The VRU Gold program aims to provide your drivers the opportunity to understand the limitations to existing infrastructure and construction impacts on traffic and road environments in a practical real-life environment. Drivers will explore first-hand how it feels to be a vulnerable road user.
Follow the lessons provided, where you will be required to walk around, perform tasks, and take note of your observations.
Please ensure when using your iPad, Smartphone, tablet, writing equipment or other devices, you do so in a safe area and are not putting yourself at risk. Some sites have elevated observation areas. With the required permission you may be able to perform a site observation from this area if you are allowed access.
