CILTA membership now gives you the opportunity to track your Continuing Professional Development and keep record of your knowledge enhancement throughout your career.
Right now we are in development mode so please test it out and let us know if you have any queries or problems with the logbook and CPD feature.
From 1st July 2016 we will move to a model where 60 CPD points over a three year period will be required to maintain your membership – don’t let this stress you out, points are easy to gain, any CILTA activities you attend will be added to your logbook automatically and any other points you earn can be added quite simply.
CPD will only be compulsory for MILT, CMILT and FCILT members under the age of 60 – all other members will be exempt but may still track their details if desired. There is also an opportunity to apply to opt out.
Why CPD? CILTA feels that as Transport and Logistics Professionals it is paramount to maintain up to date skills and knowledge in your arena and the wider industry. Tracking CPD increases your credibility and provides recognition for your commitment to learning and development.
